The focus of the Vedanta philosophy is to enquire into who we are, from where and from whom we and the material world came from, in a spirit of exploration. An understanding of the unchanging (avyaya) and unique (advaitha) Reality helps us define our purposes in life, goals, and values. This brief talk will attempt to give a short introduction to the Vedanta philosophy, envisaged in the triumvirate of spiritual journey (Prasthana Trayi), that we are fortunate to have as our spiritual heritage. Om Tat Sat.  Speaker's interest  in the Vedanta philosophy started at an early age due to his late father, Sri Ambatipudi Kondayya Sastry garu, who gave over 200 saptaha-s  (7-day discourses) on Srimad Bhagavatam and countless lectures on various Purana-s, Srimad BhagavadGitA, and Vedanta philosophy, whom he considers as his guru.
